Popular video games by Activision Blizzard, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone are getting a new ’80s Action Heroes event featuring the film characters Rambo and John McClane. The Operators are being included in a bundle, both becoming available from now on up to June 18th.

Serving time for murder, highly decorated MACV-SOG soldier John Rambo is offered one more mission: return to Vietnam and locate American POWs. If successful, he will be released, and given a full Presidential pardon. He is a man double-crossed while on a clandestine mission and left to fight on his own in Rambo: First Blood Part II, which continued to inspire countless action movies since its release in 1985.

For his part, John McClane is a New York cop who arrives at a holiday party turned hostage situation. He’s the hero of the Die Hard films, one of the most iconic action movie series of all time. A hard-bitten cop on the streets of New York, McClane has a talent for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now, in the fight of his life, he’ll have to rely on his cocky attitude and level head to stay alive.

Along with the Operator, players will receive two Finishing Moves, including one using his signature bow and arrow, and three Legendary Weapon Blueprints, a Legendary Calling Card and Emblem, and an Epic Watch and Charm. The Die Hard bundle, which is also available in the same period of time, includes Operator John McClaine, a Finishing Move, three Legendary Weapon Blueprints, a Legendary Calling Card and Emblem, an Epic Watch, and an Epic Weapon Charm.

The ’80s Action Heroes event has also come to Call Of Duty: Mobile, featuring an exclusive limited-time game mode called Guns Blazing, as well as a Die Hard and Rambo bundle, different to the ones coming to Cold War and Warzone. These bundles will be available in the in-game store from today through to June 18th. Brand new locales have arrived in Warzone with the ’80s Action Heroes event, including Nakatomi Plaza as a new Point of Interest, the setting for the original Die Hard. Players can find 10 Survival Camps across Verdansk, which pay homage to Rambo: First Blood Part II, and collect load-out items or dog tags of fallen players. More additions include a CIA Outpost locale and a Power Grab Limited-Time Mode, as well as a new Combat Bow and Ballistic Knife.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War content for season three Reloaded is adding two new multiplayer maps called Standoff, a 6v6 three-lane map, and a multi-team mode map called Duga. The title is receiving new game modes such as Die Hardpoint, a Free-for-All mode called Rambo’s Gun Game that arrives in week two, and Multi-Team Elimination. Further, the ’80s Action Heroes event introduces limited-time Medals inspired by the Die Hard and Rambo franchises. For Zombies mode, new main quests, Outbreak content and a limited-time mode are being included, as well as various in-game additions.
