In July 2021, most companies in the AGEM Index experienced declines in their stock price from the prior month. The index value was of 925.32 points. However, 12 out of the 13 companies reported year-over-year gains on their stock values. The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) produces the monthly AGEM Index that comprises 13 global gaming suppliers. When compared to July 2020’s indicators, performance of companies in July 2021 was really strong. For instance, Aristocrat Leisure Limited has a 59.1% increase on its stock price. Other manufacturers were also in the same trend, like Ainsworth (+145.1%), IGT (+90.2%), Scientific Games (+251.2%), TransAct (+374.4%), and Everi (+299.5%).
On the other hand, there was a small 7% decline of the AGEM Index in July 2021 in relation with June 2021. In the last month, only three of the 13 AGEM Index companies reported increases in stock price. The AGEM index and overview is prepared by Applied Analysis (AA), a Nevada-based advisory services firm providing consultation services for public and private entities.
Regarding major indices, they all posted positive percentage changes. The S&P 500, the Dow Jones Industrial Average and NASDAQ grew by 2.3%, 1.3% and 1.2%, respectively.
