Innovative developer, manufacturer, and supplier of casino games, systems and technology, AGS has launched its first title in the Canadian market to enhance gaming experience of Loto-Québec’s players. The well-recognized company not only generates slot cabinets and games, proprietary table games and associated equipment, but also has an interactive division which provides both online social and iGaming solutions for operators and players.
Canadian users will now be able to play Rakin’ Bacon!, a fantasy pig-themed game that features the golden pig in a coin-filled room and offers cartoon-like animations for players, with the inclusion of responsible gaming tools that ensures players’ safety.
The integration with Loto-Québec was made possible through Scientific Games’ OpenGaming System (OGS). This content aggregation platform includes over 3,000 games from the industry’s leading third-party providers, as well as the company’s in-house gaming studio, with titles featuring cutting-edge gameplay.
According to Matt Reback, Executive Vice President, Operations, AGS: “Launching in Canada is the next step for AGS, strengthening our aim to bring our content to the widest audience possible. We are thrilled to have Rakin’ Bacon! as the first title to go live with Loto-Québec, and we are looking forward to seeing our games resonate with Canadian players.”
For his part, Stéphane Martel, Acting Senior Director, Products and Innovation, Loto-Québec, said: “This agreement and launch underpins our relationship with Scientific Games and how the OpenGaming platform is a key component in offering a vast array of content to our players.”
As for Marc Crean, Commercial Director, Canada and LatAm, Digital, Scientific Games, he underlined: “We’re pleased to welcome AGS to the OpenGaming ecosystem in Canada. We are sure their content will be a massive success for Loto-Québec and our other Canadian partners.”
