Why are LatAm iGaming and sports betting operators increasingly choosing Blokotech as their platform partner? Do you think aspects such as speed, proximity, and LatAm-first design are essential when it comes to differentiating from competitors?
Absolutely. Technology alone is no longer a differentiator. Every serious platform can offer thousands of games, APIs, and an extensive feature list. What operators are really looking for is a partner that understands how their business works on the ground, and one that remains reliable over time. At Blokotech, we were built for Latin America from day one. That means our products, commercial approach and support are designed around the realities of the region, not adapted from a European model. Regulations evolve quickly, payment methods are different, player behavior varies from country to country, sometimes even from city to city, and operators need a partner that can react just as fast. Speed is one of our biggest competitive advantages. Whether it’s launching a new operator, integrating a provider or developing a feature requested by a client, we move quickly because our organization was designed to be agile. Besides, proximity absolutely matters. We don’t see ourselves as software vendors. We work alongside our clients, understand their objectives and help them grow. That’s why many of our customers have been with us for years.
In which way are operators valuing local expertise, commercial support, and long-term partnership alongside technology in LatAm?
The market has matured significantly. A few years ago, many operators were buying technology. Today, they’re looking for strategic partners. Launching a successful operation requires much more than a platform. Operators need guidance on regulation, payments, CRM strategies, player acquisition, retention, product configuration, and commercial decisions. Having a team that has already solved these challenges across multiple Latin American markets creates enormous value. We’ve always believed that long-term relationships generate better businesses than short-term contracts. When our clients grow, we grow with them. That alignment of interests changes the entire relationship.
Which are the most promising LatAm markets over the next five years for your company and why?
Latin America remains one of the most exciting gaming regions in the world. Brazil is clearly the largest opportunity because of its scale and its new regulatory framework, but it’s also becoming one of the most competitive markets globally. Beyond Brazil, we continue to see strong opportunities in Peru and Mexico, where regulation is creating a more stable environment for serious operators. We also believe there is significant long-term potential in markets such as Argentina and Chile as regulation continues to evolve. Our strategy isn’t simply to chase the biggest market. We focus on countries where we think we can create long-term value for operators through technology, local knowledge, and close commercial support.
Looking ahead, can you anticipate what the new Bloko Predict product will be about, and how it might help boost operators’ businesses?
Bloko Predict has the same philosophy behind every product we build: helping operators generate more engagement and new revenue opportunities. In this sense, Bloko Predict enters the fast-growing prediction markets vertical. It allows operators to offer markets around real-world events beyond traditional sports, creating a completely different engagement model for their players. It is designed around flexibility, performance, and AI-driven automation. Operators increasingly want more control over their product while reducing operational complexity, and that’s exactly what we’re building. We believe operators will increasingly differentiate themselves through innovation rather than simply offering the same catalogue as everyone else. Bloko Predict is part of that vision.
How has the Bloko Padel Tour helped your brand strengthen relationships with operators and other partners in the region? How are you preparing for the next edition in September 2026 in Mexico?
The Bloko Padel Tour was created precisely to build relationships. Our industry is built on trust, and trust is built between people. The Tour gives operators, suppliers and partners an opportunity to spend time together outside meeting rooms and exhibition halls. That’s where many of the strongest business relationships are created. So far, the response has exceeded every expectation. Every edition has grown in participation and we’re seeing more companies wanting to be involved. Besides our presence at SiGMA North America, we’re organizing a different type of event in Mexico. Players won’t be competing for points towards the Rome Final, but we’ll bring together clients, partners and industry friends for a fun competition with great prizes. Mexico is a strategic market for us, and this event is another step towards making the Bloko Padel Tour one of the industry’s leading networking initiatives.
