Leading iGaming aggregator and casino platform Alea announced important modifications to its internal structure to respond to its expansion in the dynamic global gaming industry.
Founder and former CEO Alexandre Tomic is moving to a non-executive role to focus on strategy and to have more presence in international events as a gaming expert and reference. For his part, his position will be occupied by Jordi Sendra, who was the company’s COO and successfully managed the operations of this relevant provider.
The new COO will be Ramon Glieneke, who will bring his expertise to the firm. In this sense, Ramon has been COO of Apartum and its spin off Cerbrium, an aggregator in the travel industry. He will take care of daily operations and utilize his API aggregation knowledge.
About these relevant modifications, Tomic declared: “Alea has become more global, present in markets like LatAm, Africa and Asia. I will spend more time in conferences and having more presence as an industry leader, so I took the decision to trust the management of our tasks and operations in the responsible hands of our solid team of executives.”
Satisfied and prepared for his new role as CEO, Sendra expressed: “After joining Alea 3 years ago as COO, it was a normal step for me to move into the CEO position as Alex takes a non-executive role, focusing on strategic opportunities.”
As for Glieneke, he said: “I’m really excited to join Alea and being part of one of the fastest growing companies in iGaming industry. It will be a fantastic challenge!”
In relation to the latter designation, Alea’s board stated: “With Ramon Glieneke joining as the new COO, our company continues bringing outside talent into the iGaming industry.”
