

Recently, Toronto based sportsbook PointsBet Canada has been establishing partnerships with Alpine Canada, the Trailer Park Boys, Curling Canada and the NHL Alumni Association. Now, the company has revealed its licensing application for operating iGaming in Ontario, one of the most promising markets in North America, has been granted by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
This means the group will be able to offer local players of that province sports betting and online gaming since April 4th, 2022. Ontario is set to be the first Canadian province to run a private market for online betting.

An Australian corporation, PointsBet has operations in that country, as well as in the United States Canada and Ireland. The company has developed a scalable cloud-based wagering platform through which it offers its clients innovative sports and racing wagering products, advance deposit wagering on racing (ADW) and iGaming.
PointsBet is currently working in nine states of the U.S. with its sports betting product: New Jersey, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Colorado, Michigan, West Virginia, Virginia and New York.
