Organized by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) and promoted by SAPAR, Italian Association of coin-op entertainment machines, with the support of EUROMAT and in collaboration with the main trade associations, Enada Primavera (https://en.enada.it/) in Rimini Expo Center its 32nd edition of one of the most important expos for southern European trade members.
Enada Rimini involves the whole gaming chain, and features a showcase of everything new in this sector at C1 Pavilion, from products to technology and services of relevant Italian and foreign companies: new slot machines, VLT and video games, all the equipment for amusement, including technology, payment systems, furnishing, fittings and services for amusement arcades and bingo halls. Of course, there’s also a complete range of proposals regarding online gaming, mobile gaming and gaming facilities offered by web licensees.
The event has usually been attended by more than 25,000 professional visitors. Besides the display of products, Enada is a great opportunity for networking and a debate forum about key issues of the gaming industry. The organizer has thought of a completely renewed formula, with a layout at the south entrance and many new features, a focus on amusement, a spectacular arena for meetings and conferences, and a business lounge.
With a COVID-19 pandemic that has not yet been fully eradicated from Italy (although, at the moment, it has little effect in this country), in order to ensure total safety for visitors and exhibitors, a rigorous #SAFEBUSINESS protocol has been outlined by Italian Exhibition Group, with indications that include transport towards the neighborhoods, the accreditation and access system, the organization of the catering areas and the management of all of the pavilions. This very strict health and safety protocol has different recommendations and procedures divided into 9 points: a) Prior to the trade show; b) At the entrances; c) In the expo center; d) Catering; e) Services; f) Accessibility; g) Special actions; h) Training and information, and i) Events and conferences.
Some rules and safety measures to highlight are the following ones: Ticket office and payments exclusively online; Digital platform for planning appointments before the show; Programmed entries for each day based on hall capacity re-definition; Obligation to wear face masks with checks at entrances; Face mask distribution points for those who hasn’t got their own; Hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the area; Thermo scanning system and no entry for those with a temperature of 37.5° and over; Multiple entrances with safety aisles and horizontal distancing signage; Sanitization route; Trade show app and signage integrated with instructions on anti COVID-19 behavior; Preference for contactless payment systems; Temperature check on workers; Staff must wear gloves, face masks, disposable overalls; Barriers between tables and digital menus in open-air food courts; Single portion lunch and coffee boxes using organic disposable and compostable material; Shuttle connection between the airport, hotels and Expo Center: sanitized, equipped with hand sanitizer, obligation to wear face masks on board, fixed number of passengers and protective barrier to separate them from the driver; Conference rooms, business center, press room with seating layout to guarantee social distancing and exclusively digitalized informative material; Wardrobe with automatic rack and disposable coverings; Bathroom facilities with constant sanitization, anti-bacterial handwash and service staff; Medical room and isolation zone for possible suspected cases; Crisis management protocol (on-site behavior, authorities to notify, isolation area).
