Your company closed an agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS). How this partnership is helping you increase your sales and the quality of your product?
We started this process with AWS a couple of years ago. We were expanding the number of our partners, so we had some infrastructure limitations in terms of our product. Besides that, it was important to work with AWS to enhance the existing delivery flow of our solution. It’s all about time to market. We moved our focus from infrastructure task to functional task. So AWS cloud solutions allowed Parimatch Tech to use a hybrid infrastructure approach to host both cloud and data center infrastructure services.
As you may know, during pandemic, people increased their online playing and gambling times. That was great for the industry. On the other hand, cybercrimes and risks also augmented. How does your system assure security for the operator?
Being a major provider, we have very high standards in terms of security. We always work together with operators to help them offer a safer environment for their players, and bring them a secure solution in the cloud. Besides our partnership with AWS, we recently obtained qualified industry certifications PCI DSS, GLI-19, and GLI-33 that allow us to offer our products and services to operators in the fast-expanding markets with the guarantee of maximum stability, security and compliance.
When you take a look at Latin American companies, you see a lack of this type of advanced technology. Do you think that the Latin American market is a great place for your company to expand, offering your system, your experience in this area?
Yes, of course. We are also very interested in the US market. We consider ourselves the best technical partners for operators ready to start working at the US market. Now, with AWS, this will be easier, supporting our clients with technical certification and a team that can solve any issue and assist to have a more stable system.
Parimatch Tech has developed several great features over the year, like Environment by Click (EBC). Can you explain more about this element?
It’s about cost reduction. We are a very huge platform offering different services. But we need to test our systems and use lots of resources. EBC helps us to provide the opportunity to create a separate environment with the most up-to-date versions of services opposite production in a few clicks. In a personal environment, you can add any feature, not affecting other teams and the development process in any way. With the following feature updates, you can update your environment to the required version without any problems and time losses to continue testing. EBC improves the quality of the product, reduces delivery time, and benefits the team’s cooperation, increasing uptime and decreasing the number of product issues.
The Parimatch brand was selected the ‘Sportsbook Operator of the Year’ during the SiGMA Europe Gaming Awards. In which way this type of recognitions and the popularity of the brand help you introduce your technology at a global level?
It’s a very supportive brand, expert in sports and very well known in the market. We are now ready to extend our business model to B2B. With that sports background and our experience in developing the latest technology, we will be able to offer our platform to more partners and increase our business.
Thinking about the future, which challenges will the new scene of gaming technology present, how will you face them and what are your goals for the next year?
As a Ukrainian company, we are strong and oriented to results. In order to help our country and expand into different markets, we aim to continue diversifying our business. We were growing fast in Eastern Europe and now it’s time to incorporate more global partners, showing them the benefits of our top-notch platform and technology, our industry expertise, and management excellence.
