

You have stated that “Peru is one of the countries with the greatest growth potential for online businesses.” Why do you think this is so?
Peru has always been a relevant market for different types of industries. Despite global problems and internal political issues, our economy is stable. In the specific case of gaming, we are a benchmark in the industry in terms of regulation and control. Well-managed operations in Peru have a high probability of being successful. At BetConstruct, we have many Peruvian and international partners who also operate here. Our reach in the region is important, and the learning and growth curve of our partners is, for the most part, quite positive. Peru remains stable, operators continue to progress, and we are with them to sustain this growth.
How would you describe the company’s performance in H1 2023 in Peru? Which are your strategies for keep on working for leadership among the country’s suppliers?
Since last year, we have been debating our internal policies in order to offer the best conditions to our members. This year, we are also analyzing and readjusting the services we offer and that we understand should be customized. At the platform level, we have excellent products that always put us at the forefront, one step ahead of our competitors. I am referring to brands such as SpringBuilder X, Pascal Gaming, PopOK and CreedRoomz, in addition to our renowned and award-winning sportsbook, and new technologies that we develop for the Crypto, Fastex and Metaverso ecosystems. Being part of one of the largest tech corporations in the world, the support we give our partners is immense. Our strategy is embodied in the motto: “Our magnitude is your advantage.” Working with us gives our partners greater competitiveness and the tools to grow not only locally, but also globally.
How will the comprehensive regulation of online gambling and sports betting favor BetConstruct’s development in that territory?
We have experience in heavily regulated markets, such as Europe and the United States, and, in LatAm, with countries like Argentina and Colombia, for example. We have a compliance team that is directly related to international consultants, with which we are attentive to any news or change regarding the regulations of each country, province or state (if applicable). Likewise, our platform and products are certified. We have accumulated more than 45 certifications worldwide. When the technical regulation is approved in Peru, we will be working on everything that corresponds to us, as indicated. With always try to give our current and future partners the certainty that we are a reliable platform and content provider.
Instead of ‘customers,’ your company prefers to speak about “strategic business partners.” What products and brands from BetConstruct’s broad portfolio are chosen the most by its Peruvian partners?
We have been awarded as the ‘Best Sportsbook Provider’ and ‘Best Platform of the Year.’ Our sportsbook has more than 65,000 pre-match events and 45,000 live events monthly. We manage statistics and quotas that are evaluated and provided in-house, with a simple and friendly format, a powerful reporting and administration engine, and a robust platform. However, reinforcing the previous answers, I think that the decision of our partners is based on much more than the evidence.
