Prominent Latin American sports betting firm Betcris continues to expand and refine its business to reach more players. To this end, the company announced the hiring of Lucas Lebleu, an industry expert who will take the position of Casino Director.
In this role, the executive will be responsible for the implementation of the operator’s casino strategy, including operation and promotion activities. He will also oversee tactical changes in those areas to meet proposed revenue targets.
Besides, Lebleu will oversee the maintenance of the operational integrity of Betcris’ casino activity. He will be engaged in executing and optimizing processes to test game content and core casino app functions, ensuring that creative design messages and promotions reflect its core values.
A REFERENCE IN THE SECTOR, WITH EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE
With more than 25 years of proven experience in the online gaming sector, Lebleu has been working successfully in Europe, both in B2C and B2B. During that time, he helped grow several major companies, including William Hill, NetEnt, and GiG. Most recently, he served as Senior Sales Director at Skywind Group.
Now, Lebleu is moving back to Costa Rica, where he started his iGaming career in 1997. He spent most of his life there, before relocating to Spain to work in Gibraltar in 2009. Betcris is confident in his proven track record and strong commercial focus to enhance the progress of the company at a regional and international level.
“I’m back home! I am very excited about this opportunity. I have known Betcris since I started working in Costa Rica a quarter of a century ago, and I am pleased to have reached an agreement. In my opinion, it is one of the most respected gaming brands in Latin America, with a retail and online presence in the majority of the countries. I want to specifically thank JD, Fernando Garita, Gabriel Nuñez and Carlos Soto, but also Mauricio Delgado and the Human Resources team, who have been extra helpful to get me up to speed and giving me the best of welcomes,” exclaimed Lebleu about his entrance to the operator.
