Global gaming leaders will stellar important discussions, providing unique perspectives and crucial insights into gaming’s future.Presented by the American Gaming Association (AGA) and organized by RX (Reed Exhibitions), there are fewer and fewer days until the Global Gaming Expo (G2E). From Monday, October 4th to Thursday, October 7th, thousands of executives from the gaming sector will meet to know more about innovative products, learn from industry experts and finally gather in-person at networking spaces in Las Vegas, Nevada (U.S.).
To add excitement to this amazing show, organizers have announced keynotes that will congregate the most relevant people from the gaming industry in one place. First, on Tuesday, October 5th at 8:45 a.m. PT, Bill Miller, President and CEO, AGA, will kick off the event with a welcome address reflecting on gaming’s road to recovery. Following his remarks, Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak and U.S. Rep. Dina Titus (NV-1) will speak on navigating the COVID-19 pandemic, the dynamic role gaming plays across the state, and delivering for the state of Nevada, in keynote named Leading Nevada’s Recovery Against the Odds. On Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. PT, G2E will debut an afternoon keynote session, Gaming & Diversity: Pushing the Industry Forward. This conference will feature Jyoti Chopra (Chief People, Inclusion & Sustainability Officer, MGM Resorts International); Suzanne Clark (President and CEO, U.S. Chamber of Commerce), and Apporva Gandhi (Senior Vice President, Multicultural Affairs, Social Impact and Business Councils, Marriott International), with moderation of Contessa Brewer (CNBC). Executives will discuss how gaming companies can and should prioritize diversity at all levels to better serve customers, employees, and communities.
The highlight of the fair, in terms of keynotes, will be Raising the Stakes: Gaming Leaders Take on the Future of the Industry (Wednesday, October 6th at 9:00 a.m. PT), the talk that will bring together for the first time in the same stage to Jim Allen (Chairman, Hard Rock International, and CEO, Seminole Gaming); Bill Hornbuckle (CEO and President, MGM Resorts International), and Matt Maddox (CEO, Wynn Resorts). Also with moderation of Brewer, the three gaming leaders will debate on the ever-evolving commercial and tribal gaming landscape.
Before that, G2E’s full education line-up will begin with G2E Connects: Working Together to Find Solutions on Monday, October 4th at 3:00 p.m. PT. Meredith Pallante, Vice President, Global Events, AGA, and Korbi Carrison, Event Director, G2E, will welcome the gaming community for collaborative conversations on promoting productivity through inclusivity in the workforce, building careers through mentorship, and adapting to customers’ changing needs.
