What advantages does your company’s platform have?
I think that Wise Gaming has different demands from a diverse number of markets, and we give each operator a perfect service. When someone comes and say: “I want this bonus engine in different ways”, we never say no. If you want something else, we can do it for you. I understand operators’ needs. This is why our technology is unique. You can customize everything. The way we created technology is adjustable and customizable. Another advantage is I know most of the platform providers. So you can give me your design, and we create what’s best for you very quickly.
Wise Gaming has a global presence. How to adapt to different markets, regarding operators’ needs and players’ demands?
Since I have worked as an operator, I learned about operators’ problems, and I know how to solve them. Before we sign any deal, our first meeting is about what they want, which market they want to operate in, which are their targeted customers. I really listen. Then, I try to make the platform customized so they can operate easily. The second most important thing is that the service should be seamless. When it comes to sports casino, we have zero downside. I’m very confident about it.
Which markets are you working at the moment?
We have some clients from Malta. When we developed our platform, we got the official paperwork from the MGA. We went through all the requirements. Besides, most of our current clients are from LatAm. The customer profile there is changing. They are more into gaming now, with more marketing opportunities. The traffic is just getting higher and higher. Also, recently, some LatAm countries decided to regulate iGaming as well. LatAm is going to get much bigger in terms of business. We bring there our European experience. We provide them a proper platform.
From a business perspective, which Latin American territories are you seeing as the most promising ones?
To be honest with you, I know they are advancing in the regulation in Brazil, but I’m not so sure they are making the right decision. Some operators are making money there and taxation and licensing fees will affect lots of operators in Brazil. So it’s not good for the industry. So, to answer your question, I would choose Mexico, Colombia and Peru as my favorites.
When you take a look back, what is your balance of this year? What goals do you have in mind for 2024?
This was a good year for us, with different learning experiences. For instance, SiGMA Brazil was our first event in LatAm, and it was hugely successful. We found very good clients there. When we meet a client, we want them to have a clear strategy. The most important thing is to trust on each other and to build a strong relationship. You know, I’ve been in the industry for 20 years, and every single day I learn something. You can always add something new to your platform, like gamification tools or different affiliate features. I listen to my clients, learn from the industry and build a customize product for each of them. We will continue facing new challenges and will respond to them efficiently and seamlessly.
