You have extensive work experience, both in gaming suppliers and operators. What advantages does that flexibility give you for your current daily responsibilities?
Over 10 years of experience on the B2C side of business gave me much insight into the operator’s mindset, pain points, and real needs. This correlates well with GR8 Tech’s experience, which I’m able to enrich with my perspective in LatAm markets. My B2C experience allows me to identify and address our clients’ pain points effectively, asking just the right questions; and thanks to the new B2B perspective, I know exactly what solutions to propose. Being on both sides of the table has given me a unique ability to ensure that what we offer isn’t just promising in theory, but genuinely effective in practice.
Why did you decide to join GR8 Tech? What contributions do you feel you can make to the company in its process of entering the promising Brazilian gaming market?
Joining GR8 Tech was a strategic move at the right time in my career. After twelve years on the operator’s side, I was ready for a new challenge, and GR8 Tech, with its dynamic approach and recent accolades, including being named the ‘Best Sportsbook Provider’ by SiGMA, was the perfect fit. The company is highly respected in Europe and utilized by many world-class operators, which speaks volumes about the quality and reliability of its technology. How valuable are the achievements of the new gambling regulation in the country, and what issues remain to be resolved? How is your company positioned today in this competitive and challenging scenario?
The advancements in regulation in Brazil made significant progress, with the Government taking commendable steps towards establishing a clear and effective regulatory framework. This progress is crucial, as it sets the stage for a more structured and promising market environment. However, there are still hurdles to overcome, including the full implementation of the regulations, which I expect to be finished by mid-Q3 2024, and ongoing adjustments in the form of new ordinances. At GR8 Tech, we are optimally positioned to thrive in this evolving scenario. Our robust, localized, and stable technology solutions are designed to help operators navigate these changes effectively. As the landscape continues to shift, our focus remains on providing predictable and tailored tech to our clients, ensuring their success in a competitive market.
