Sports betting is one of the fastest growing game verticals in the lottery sector. Many European Lotteries (EL) and World Lottery Association (WLA) members have close ties with their National Olympic Committees and a large number of sports associations, proving once more the importance of sport, be it at professional or grassroots level.
Right ahead of the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games, the EL/WLA Sports Betting Seminar will occur in Paris, France, on November 1st to 3rd, 2023, and also offer attendees the experience of attending the Rolex Paris Masters ATP 1000 tennis tournament.
This two day event will bring together professionals from the lottery and sports betting sectors to discuss the latest updates worldwide and best practices from lottery members. Besides, participants will have the chance to meet and exchange with other sports betting experts from all over the world and listen to high level keynote speakers.
Among the attendees will be sports betting directors, lottery executives and collaborators responsible for sports betting, marketing, product development, and odds compilers.
The seminar -conducted exclusively in English- will start with a welcome dinner on the evening of Wednesday, November 1st, at the Mercure Paris Boulogne Hotel and end on Friday, November 3rd, at around 13:00 with lunch.
Interested executives can check more info here. The full programme will be uploaded soon on the EL and WLA websites. This edition of the seminar is not to be missed. Registration is available here.
Moreover, these entities will be organizing two previous events. One will be the EL/WLA Sustainability/Responsible Gaming Seminar (September 27-29th, 2023), at Oslo, Norway, hosted by Norsk Tipping). The other will be the EL AI Seminar (October 25-26th, 2023), at Warsaw, Poland, hosted by Totalisator Sportowy.
