GLI will participate at Coljuegos’ Second Business Roundtable

Tomorrow, at 11:15 am EST, Karen Sierra-Hughes, VP, LatAm and Caribbean, GLI, will integrate the panel ‘Market Opportunities for Colombian Gaming’, on a key event organized by local regulator for the sector.

Coljuegos will close its working year tomorrow through a live online meeting via its Facebook channel. The encounter (Second Business Roundtable) will include an analysis of the state of the Colombian gaming market (land-based and online modalities) during 2020 and a discussion between gaming leaders in the Americas. Precisely, from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm EST, Karen Sierra-Hughes, VP, LatAm and Caribbean, GLI, will be representing the outstanding gaming laboratory, which has a strong regional and global presence. Sebastian Vivot (LOTBA, Buenos Aires City Lottery), Bernardo Chena (Codere), Claudia Mendoza Ortiz (IGT), Lina Gallego (Luckia Colombia) and Erick Mendez (Ezugi) will also participate in the virtual talk, which will focus on the theme ‘Market Opportunities for the Colombian Gaming.’

Previously, from 11:00 am to 11:15 am EST, there will be a valuable interview with the heads of the Colombian gaming unions: Evert Montero (Fecoljuegos), Elizabeth Maya (Cornazar), Hector Chaparro (Fedelco) and Juan Carlos Restrepo (Asogames).

The opening of the event (9:45 am EST) will be in charge of Cesar Augusto Valencia Galiano, president of Coljuegos, together with Felipe Lega Gutierrez, president of the Board of Directors of Coljuegos and Director of the Unit for Normative Projection and Financial Regulation Studies of the Colombian Ministry of Finance. Later (10:00 am to 11:00 am EST), with a presentation by Angela Zambrano Chaves (Communications Advisor), Coljuegos’ officials, Rosa Maria Muñoz (Vice President of Business Development) and Jhon Jairo Altamiranda (New Business Manager), will explain the results of the regulator’s work during this season. The entity approved new betting verticals, as well as was aware of the situation of operators and providers in a difficult year marked by COVID-19.
