In this interview, Dario Ezequiel Ravelli, Key Account Manager, BetStarters, describes best characteristics of the company and its wide and attractive range of solutions for the online gaming sector.
You have recently started working at BetStarters. What were the main characteristics of the company that impressed you the most?
Our company was built on the basis of decades of experience into the gaming industry. We do have extraordinary technology and an already massive experience in the emerging markets. We are currently covering many African regions and the entire South American market, with strong presence in Europe as well, specifically into the Balkans. Would you briefly detail BetStarters’ solutions and its five business units: HubStarters, GalaxyStarters, ShuttleStarters, WireStarters and FeedStarters?
Sure! Our ShuttleStarters is a complete platform solution through the use of the Hub, Galaxy and Wire modules. This solution has been built to be more flexible and adaptable to your business needs and to be able to manage both retail and online operations. Players, shops, agents, everything can be managed through it! The HubStarters is simply an aggregator content solution for B2C and B2B customers. Only with one API integration, you can connect to Sportsbook, Casino, Live Casino, Lottery, Poker, Lotto, Virtual and more. It’s a fast and complete tool. Then, you have FeedStarters, described as ‘The Fastest Sports Odds Betting data API service.’ Our sports data engineers used top-of-the-line technology and the wisdom of the crowd to create a unique algorithm that is automatically sourced by real-time data to bring the most effective results. And, just to finish, something we are particularly proud about: BetStarters offers an exclusive technical solution to those operators which intend to enter into a certain regulated market. We have done that for the Italian market, but also in Montenegro and Malawi. In Italy, for example, part of the Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (ADM) directives, each operator must connect to SOGEI (the Italian state-owned administrative and tax systems provider) by using a portfolio of protocols specifically created to communicate with the authority and be compliant with the Italian gaming framework. In which way can BetStarters’ platform help Latin American operators to deploy a full array of products for the online gaming vertical? Do you believe that, after Colombia, there will be more markets, such as Argentina, Brazil and Peru, regulating iGaming?
I guess it’s just a matter of time. I believe that the Colombian iGaming market has been simply the first to be regulated. In BetStarters, we know deeply well the industry in which we are operating, and we understand that gaming is particularly prone to radical changes, especially in certain regions. We do also have clients operating with Paraguayan license, another interesting market that we would like to explore more. Our view is to base our operations in those markets, helping business to stabilize by offering one of the most advanced sportsbooks available on the industry today. We have a platform that can be fully adapted to any payment system and any other solution, such as our Hubs for Poker and Casino.
In your opinion, what will be the next surprising markets in the online gaming scene?
The Indian market has been the sensation so far in 2020. Besides, if I should bet on some specific region, I would definitely focus on certain African countries that haven’t been properly explored yet, such as Angola and many others. I’m also expecting few other markets to grow up fast, like Paraguay in LatAm.
What projects does the company have for the next year?
We are now launching several brands in different regions. Our main target is to keep growing into emerging markets by covering the most of them. We have a couple of big opportunities in Africa right now and we are going to focus on them, adding few clients into the Balkans and finalizing a few projects in LatAm.
