After recent deal between MGM Resorts and sports bar brand Buffalo Wild Wings, which will see the BETMGM digital gaming platform introduced throughout its venues, Scott Butera, President, Interactive Gaming of the casino operator, was confirmed as a relevant speaker to talk about this landmark multi-year partnership on the opening panel of the Investor Summit at New York’s Metropolitan West. The one-day investor summit is set to be followed by two days of debate at Sports Betting USA, which will examine the growing industry and its value chain through the lens of four crucial components: regulation, acquiring customers, maximizing the value chain, and financing this US$150 billion opportunity.

Rory Credland, Event Director, declared: “Speakers like Scott Butera are what makes this a must-attend event, as they are at the cutting edge of what is set to be a US$5 billion industry in the next five years. We have a stellar line-up again this year, with all of the major sports leagues represented, and a host of very knowledgeable speakers who will be able to shed light on all of the current challenges and opportunities.”

Among the highlights of this year’s show will be a presentation by New York Senator Joseph Addabbo Jr and New York State Assemblyman J. Gary Pretlow, who will share the state’s vision for sports betting. They will be joined by senior executives from leading operators and media companies, including William Hill USA, Penn National Gaming, and The Score, as well as representatives of sporting organizations, including the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, PGA Tour, and NASCAR.
