Venegas (WorldMatch): “We work hand in hand with our partners to create attractive contents”

Estefania Venegas, Regional Manager for Latin America, WorldMatch.

In this interview, Estefania Venegas, Regional Manager for Latin America at WorldMatch, mentions the main products the company took to ICE London show. She also says the company is positioned as one of the leading casino content providers in Colombia, and that its goal is to reach new markets and integrate with top operators around the world.

From your point of view, how much has the company grown in the last year, in terms of product launches, new agreements and progress in different markets?
WorldMatch is a company with a very strong and talented IT Development and Creative department. Each one of our hubs in the world is constantly working to better perform our products globally. We have made different agreements with retail games providers and we have developed the online version of their most famous land-based products. Beside this, we have completed the production of the HTML5 version of the most important table and card games: Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat and Hi-Lo. We are particularly focused in the development of LatAm markets, especially the Colombian regulated market where WorldMatch is positioned as one of the leading casino content providers. Currently, WorldMatch is working to reach and increase its presence in other markets where potentially could create strong partnerships with local online casino operators.

Why are company’s titles so successful? What is their appeal? What products has the company taken to ICE show in London?
Our titles are successful because we are always considering the different markets’ particularities. We work hand in hand with our partners in order to create attractive contents that recall experiences and cultural tastes of the different communities. At ICE London, we have introduced Dream Set, a great and promising experience for players, and a retention tool for online casino companies.

What has been the users’ response to WM games in LatAm? Which are the players’ favorites? In what territories of the region the company has presence and where does it want to continue expanding?
All the different types or game modalities have been particularly successful and we are working forward to satisfy players’ experience. Some games are exceptionally appealing, such as all the games that integrate jackpot and some kind of table games.

What expectations do you have about the advance of the iGaming legalization in Latin America? Do you think this year new markets will open, such as Brazil, Argentina or Peru? What benefits could this situation bring to your company?
WorldMatch has always been ready to start its operation in regulated markets, as it happened in Colombia. We are also eager to invest in the regular operation of our games, so operators can rely on us in order to perform certifications to integrate casino content in the fastest way possible. These countries you mention will slowly advance with regulations. WorldMatch will keep on working as an advantage to prepare its personalized offer of games for these markets.

What will be the challenges to overcome for WorldMatch on this 20th anniversary?
Our main challenge is to reach new markets and integrate with top operators around the world. By now, we are certifying our games for the UK and Portuguese markets and this will allow us to close some undergoing commercial deals. At the same time, we will keep on growing by adding talented and key people to our global team to reach these objectives.
