In a year-over-year comparison, the December 2021 index increased by 284.47 points for an annual growth rate of 41.4 percent, revealing a huge progress in the performances of top gaming manufacturers.
During the twelve months of 2021, the indicator only fell month-on-month in July (-7%) and in November (-10.9%).
The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) https://agemindex.com/ has publicized its Index results for January 2022. While the indicator improved 33 percent in a comparison with the same month of the last year, it has also fallen 45.71 points to 925.87, marking a 4.7 percent decrease from December 2021.
From the 12 global gaming suppliers that are part of this index, main contributors of this month were PlayAGS, Konami Gaming and Crane. Besides, 10 from 12 companies have had a favorable outcome last month v January 2021.
In financial terms, all three major U.S. stock indices decreased over the latest period. The Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 3.3 percent, while the S&P 500 fell by 5.3 percent. Meanwhile, the NASDAQ experienced a 9.1 percent drop.
