The company is celebrating its 15th anniversary. What are the key milestones it has reached over this time?
Listing everything would take more than a few pages. The key highlight: we’ve evolved from a startup to a global company. Our products span dozens of countries, and our team has grown to over 2,000 people. We are not just a regular market player: we set trends. Back in 2013, we pioneered a casino betting platform using Bitcoin, reshaping the industry crypto experience. However, at 15 years old, SOFTSWISS believes we are just beginning our journey. Like teenagers with big dreams and the drive to make them happen, we are energized and committed to transforming the industry positively. We aim to lead it forward to innovation and continuous improvement.
Could you tell us more about the company’s participation in the next ICE London show (stand N8-231)?
Our discussions and engagements at the expo will center around two key topics: regulations and responsible gambling. These pivotal issues highlight our commitment to navigating the dynamic regulatory landscape and promoting responsible practices within the iGaming industry. When it comes to our products, our main focus is to announce our strategic investment in Turfsport, a prominent South African company providing versatile wagering software for sports, horse racing, and lotto. In terms of market emphasis, we are closely examining opportunities in Latin America, particularly Brazil, and Africa, with a specific interest in South Africa and Nigeria. These regions present promising avenues for growth, and our strategy aims to tap into their potential to effectively address these markets’ unique demands.
What was the strategy the firm implemented to achieve success the last year?
Effectively evaluating annual outcomes is closely linked to the success of the chosen strategy. We establish clear and measurable objectives that span at least three years, consistently revisiting and refining them. The current results are particularly satisfying. Highlighting significant accomplishments, we have reached milestones such as achieving 10 billion euros in Monthly Total Bets for the SOFTSWISS Game Aggregator in July, experiencing a 4.5-fold increase in Sportsbook GGR, and welcoming the 70th partner brand to the SOFTSWISS Jackpot Aggregator. Noteworthy additions to our portfolio include the successful launch of the Tournament Tool and cross-product integration. These accomplishments, combined with impressive figures, underscore our unwavering commitment to excellence and have earned us prestigious industry awards in categories like ‘Best Aggregator,’ ‘Crypto Company of the Year,’ and ‘Best Customer Service.’ We remain dedicated to strengthening our position as a leader in the dynamic and ever-evolving landscape of the iGaming industry.
Which are the main goals for 2024?
Looking ahead into 2024, we are dedicated to enhancing the player experience by improving our product portfolio. We plan to strengthen our Sportsbook, expand the Tournament Tool across our client base, and obtain certifications for our product kit in several new countries. In addition to expanding into promising regions like Latin America, SOFTSWISS focuses on the burgeoning African market with long-term projects dedicated to ensuring sustainable growth. As you might know, we have acquired the majority stake in, a leading South African provider of multichannel wagering software for sports, horse Turfsport racing, and lotto. We are dedicated to expanding its global presence and improving the gaming experience for players on various fronts. We remain steadfast in upholding the principles that define us as a top-tier technological company, including expertise, security, service, and innovation.
