Next week, on July 20-22nd, the 31st Annual Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association Conference and Trade Show will take place at the Oklahoma City Convention Center. Oklahoma is located in the South Central and Southwestern regions of the United States.
This is a very traditional event, known as ‘the biggest little show in Indian Gaming.’ Current edition will attract nearly 3,000 vendors, visitors and guest speakers to attend a lively, fun, informative, high-energy assembly of some of the biggest names in the gaming and hospitality industries.
On Monday, July 20th, there will be a welcome reception, Poker and Blackjack Tournaments at Fassler Hall. Tuesday morning, on July 21st, will be dedicated to a wide array of sessions. The Trade Show floor will open at noon on Tuesday for maximum networking and instead of the formal luncheon, the awards and scholarship recipients will be presented on the show floor stage, with a more casual meal. Wednesday will be filled with more sessions and fun on the show floor.
Sessions, conferences and panels will include key issues for the sector, with the participation of leading executives from tribal and commercial gaming in the United States. Some of the themes in debate will be The State of Tribal Gaming: A National Update, Beyond the Game Floor: Designing Amenity-Driven Casino Resorts, Ready for the Future: Digital Compliance in Casino Financial Reporting, and The Convergence of Casinos and Sports Sponsorships. There will also be conversations about responsible gaming, affiliates and influencers, legislation in prediction markets, licensing, cybersecurity, AI tools for enhancing casino integrity, marketing, sports betting compliance, casino surveillance technology, payment methods, as well as meetings of the National Indian Gaming Commission and the Global Gaming Women organization.
Moreover, a highlight of each year is the Annual Golf Tournament benefiting the John Marley Scholarship Fund. The Tournament will be held the day before the Conference and Trade Show opens and will be a great way to network and catch up with old friends. Another attractive activity will be the recognitions, with the ‘Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Achievement in Indian Gaming’ and the ‘Modern Day Warrior Award.’
