You have been with GR8_TECH for over eight months. What surprised you the most about the company, and what do you consider your contribution to have been during this time?
There’s a lot happening across different markets, providers, and product areas, but at the same time, there’s openness to new ideas and to challenging how things have traditionally been done. Over this time, I’d say my main contribution has been helping to shape the direction of our casino product, particularly around GREAT_CASINO AGGREGATION. A big focus for me has been making sure we’re creating a product that helps operators find the right games for each player. We’re keeping the platform open to emerging studios, improving our approach to discovery and performance, and exploring areas such as personalization and data to make the overall casino experience more relevant. There’s still a lot we want to do, but I feel we’ve made good progress in establishing a strong product direction and focusing on where we can create the most value.
The firm offers advanced online casino solutions that combine scalability, speed, and customization. In what ways do you believe these solutions have been benefiting Latin American operators?
LatAm operators need the flexibility to adapt content, lobbying, payments, promotions, and the overall player journey to each market. Our platform gives them control without requiring them to rebuild the product every time they enter a new country. Mobile performance is another important area. In markets such as Argentina, the majority of gambling traffic comes from smartphones, so speed and a simple mobile experience can directly impact conversion. Players expect the casino to load quickly, make games easy to find, and make deposits straightforward. Content is also a big part of it. Through aggregation, operators can access a much wider range of global and local content and then use data, segmentation, and personalization to put the most relevant games in front of the right players. That is particularly useful in LatAm, where player preferences can change quite significantly from one market to another. There’s also scalability. Operators want to know that if they grow quickly or have a major traffic peak, the technology can grow with them. We deliver top performance and reliability while giving them the freedom to continue adapting the product as the market evolves.
Which product features would you highlight about the GREAT_CASINO AGGREGATION from GR8_TECH?
It’s the level of control and speed GREAT_CASINO AGGREGATION gives an operator. We provide access to more than 20,000 games from over 250 providers through a single API. That immediately removes a lot of complexity around integrations, maintenance, and managing multiple supplier relationships. Operators can launch quickly and continuously expand the portfolio. However, aggregation today has to go beyond access to content. We give operators the flexibility to work directly with providers on promotions, build more targeted offers, and use tools such as bonuses, tournaments, and jackpots to create stronger engagement around the games. Another important point is that we don’t want aggregation to become a limitation as the operator grows. They can add providers, adapt their commercial strategy, and shape the portfolio around the needs of individual markets. I would describe GREAT_CASINO AGGREGATION as an ideal infrastructure for growth. We simplify the operational side, but at the same time give operators the freedom and tools they need to differentiate their casino, improve player engagement, and scale the business efficiently.
What are the main current trends for online casinos in LatAm, and how does your company address the obstacles operators face in the continent?
The market is becoming much more sophisticated, with each country exhibiting distinct player habits, payment preferences, and content trends. Mobile is obviously a major part of that. Players expect a very fast and simple experience, even when the connection quality isn’t perfect. Operators have to think about everything from loading speed and navigation to how quickly a player can deposit and start playing. In LatAm, slots remain extremely important, but live casino, crash, and instant games are also growing. Because football is such a big part of the region’s entertainment culture, there is an opportunity to create a much more connected experience between sportsbook and casino. The main obstacle for operators is managing complexity while still moving quickly. Regulation, payments, content, and player behavior can all change from one country to another. That’s where I think GR8_TECH brings a lot of value. We give operators a mobile-first and scalable platform, local payment and CRM capabilities, and the flexibility to adapt the frontend, content, and player journeys by market.
In most Latin American countries, players overwhelmingly prefer the online casino vertical over the sports betting one. Do you think this trend will continue in the future? Why?
Yes, I think casino will continue to be the stronger vertical in many Latin American markets. It fits very naturally with the region’s mobile-first behavior: it’s always available, sessions can be very short, and the variety of slots, live casino, crash, and instant games keeps growing. At the same time, I wouldn’t look at casino and sportsbook separately. Sportsbook remains a powerful acquisition channel because of Latin America’s passion for football, while casino can generate more frequent engagement and help extend the player lifecycle. I expect casino to remain a major revenue driver, but the biggest opportunity for operators is in connecting both verticals and moving players naturally between them.
