
Global leading slot-machine manufacturer and game-content provider Aristocrat Gaming announced that Oriana Branon Camacho has joined the company in the newly created role of Vice President of Communications and Corporate Affairs. Branon Camacho recently led corporate communications for financial tech giant Bill.com, where she drove the company’s external visibility in the wake of their IPO. She was also the first PR hire for Alaska Airlines in California.
Now, reporting to CEO of Aristocrat Gaming, Hector Fernandez, she will be a member of the executive leadership team, overseeing all external and internal communications for the Gaming division, and providing strategic guidance on the organization’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG), as well as sustainability and ethical impact, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Branon has been recognized for her strong communications performance record, including PRWeek’s “Women to Watch” and PRWeek’s “40 Under 40,” and featured as a Latina advocate in Latina Style and Forbes. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She sits on various nonprofit boards dedicated to opening pathways for underserved communities and is passionate about mentoring women of color professionals. A proud mother and an empowered woman, currently, Oriana lives in San Francisco with her husband and her two daughters, Gabi and Mica.
POSITIVE NUMBERS FOR FINANCIAL YEAR 2022
In business terms, Aristocrat Leisure’s group-wide revenue will grow 19.8% year-on-year in financial year 2022, to nearly AUD5.68 billion (USD 4.0 billion), according to JP Morgan. The financial year for the gaming supplier begins on October 1st, and ends on September 30th the following calendar year.
Besides, JP Morgan expects Aristocrat Leisure’s financial year 2022 earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) to expand by 20.5% to just under AUD1.84 billion (USD 1.29 billion). The institution anticipates Aristocrat’s actual 2022 net profit after tax will rise 18.3% y-o-y to AUD970 million (USD 683 million), from AUD820 million (USD 577 million) last financial year.
