Due to pandemic, SiGMA Group rapidly adapted to new environment and successfully generated events such as SiGMA Asia, SiGMA Americas and, now, SiGMA Europe, all in virtual formats. It was a positive decision for the gaming industry.
This week, on November 24-25th, SiGMA combined with AIBC to offer gaming executives an updated landscape of this sector in Europe, with a balanced mix of online conferences, networking spaces and stands with a large array of products from sponsors and exhibitors.
The wonderful 6Connex platform should be highlighted, which gave attendees practical and quick access to both sponsors + exhibitors, and the different spaces proposed by SIGMA, from the Central Lobby: Conference Room; Exhibition Hall; Networking Lounge; Entertainment Lounge, and Careers Fair. Precisely, this first-ever digital Careers Fair was a great opportunity for attendees to contact with big-name brands seeking for new talent in a range of open vacancies. The brand-new, custom-built virtual expo floor hosted 110+ industry-leading exhibitors and proved to be an exciting addition to the event, and a promising direction for the future of business. There were important companies, such as Aspire Global, Vibra Gaming, WorldMatch, SoftSwiss, Habanero, 1XBet, Edict, Pin-Up Partners, ConnectPay, Gaming1, UltraPlay, Betradar, Luckia, MGA Games, Mascot Gaming, Oryx Gaming, Playson and Quinel, among many others. Besides, at the end of the first day, exhibitor and online gaming software developer EvenBet Gaming hosted an exclusive poker tournament for delegates, with a prize pool consisting of €1,000 worth of Amazon vouchers.
All attendees also enjoyed lively debate in the Networking Lounge and the Conference Room, lit up with a series of expert-led panel discussions. From the transformation of traditional finance to rising new crypto currencies taking the world by storm, and from cybersecurity to ethics and data management, no stone in the current European gaming and tech industry was left unturned. The various topics of conversation fell under the following categories such as Regulation, Affiliation & Marketing, Sportsbook, Suppliers, Market Trends, Data in Payments, and Edge of Technology for Games for SiGMA section; and for AIBC section, there were Regulation & Compliance and FinTech and AI. In this sense, the iGaming Academy and iFinance Academy helped SiGMA organizers to present this huge diversity of interesting content.
Commenting about the show, Eman Pulis, CEO and Founder of SiGMA, said it was “full of content, amazing speakers, top of the line exhibitors, and great networking.”
SiGMA announced its next series of physical events for 2021, with SiGMA Europe (February 16-18th, in Malta) headlining next year’s calendar. Inaugural face-to-face summits in Asia and Americas are also set to dominate the year, with SiGMA Asia and SiGMA Americas launching in May 2021 and September 2021, respectively, and SiGMA Africa in 2022.
